The “Recognizing Gang Behavior through Understanding
Gang Laws!” course is geared towards those persons that are in need of being able
to identify gang related behavior through common signs and symptoms of gang involvement
as prescribed by Federal or state law. The class goal is to provide the student with a
working knowledge of the necessary elements of gang related behavior that would constitute
an illegal act, as well as to provide the student with information in recognizing behavior
that might lead to illegal activity.
The learning objectives of the class are as follows:
- The student will understand the necessary elements to be considered
a gang member by law.
- The student will be able to identify gang related behavior through the various ways
state and federal law states a person could be associated with a gang.
- The student will be able to identify gang related behavior from actual cases involving
arrests of person involved in criminal gang activity.
This course is taught using a power point presentation that includes
photographs and videos of gang related behavior.

"Dangerous Youth Trends"
The Dangerous Youth Trends class
in designed to educate parents, teachers, and other attendees the
dangerous activities that young adults engage in. This class
is always evolving to cover the latest trends and can be conformed
to fit the attendee’s needs. Some of the topics include
internet dangers that include online predators, the dangers of
social websites and online bullying. Other topics include the
latest drug trends, gang related trends, violent music, and Goth
and vampirism behavior. A dangerous youth trends class can be
added onto a gang or drug presentation or can be a stand alone
class ranging from 30 minutes to several hours. This type class
is for anyone that deals with youth on a regular basis.
